Tragedy? Stupid? Love?
Just watched this clip, a local production starring Lawerence Wong (from Moulmein High) and merman13 (from Livejournal).

Anyway, just wanna share a few things about the issue discussed in the show. Many would discuss about gays loving straights as shown by CK loving David and how stupid/silly it is cos David will never reciprocate. For me, I would prefer discussing about killing oneself for a failed relationship or in this case, a failed attempt to get love reciprocated. As this was written based on a true story, whatever I'm going to say has no disrespect for the person involved.
As I watched the show, a lump was formed in my throat cos I could feel the pain he was getting and also I know how bad it feels to have your love not reciprocated. As I was telling Phoenyx, I almost become hellboy few years back when I stood at the lift landing of my flat looking down at the grass patch below, wondering if I jump, would my lost love cry and come back? Luckily, I was sober enough not to jump, if not I wouldn't be here writing all these now.
The past few weeks has been really bad for me, people who knows about it; namely Donny, Lynn, Shan, etc should know what I had gone through. And maybe it's the aura i'm emitting, the few strangers I've chatted with are also going through some emotional distress. This particular person, 32yo, struck me deeply. Wanting to commit suicide over a failed relationship. Me being younger had to tell him this "dying for a failed relationship is the stupidiest thing u can ever do!" And I strongly stand by that. What's the point in killing urself over such failures or any other failures? Would it change anything? I dun think so. It will only make things worse for those living, those who still love you. Look at the frens of CK and CK's mom. These are the people who cared for him, loved him and see how sad they are when he's gone. Should you kill urself, the people around you are the ones suffering! They're the ones who's gonna be sad! U think u very wei da to die for ur lover? I can only say u're the stupidiest person!!!
Well.. with all due respect to the dead, I shall not take this topic any further and shall close by saying this to a very close friend, my darLynn. Love is beautiful. The one who really loves you will not hurt u, the one who hurts you dun really love u. Be strong. I will always be here for you!
